Fast On Wheels

Written by HOFC at 17:25 7/6-2014

HOFC took to their first pro tour in team history this past week. The team entered in Fast on Wheels was the strongest HOFC had to offer. The team consisted of Darius Podevin as captain, Heraldo Paez, Donny Daniels, Benedict Burton, Terrel Riley and Mario Schaeffer. The tour started off a rough for the team as the first ITT found the best rider to be Donny Daniels finishing 56th. The two stages found Podevin making a move up the leader board finishing 10th and 7th respectively. With a final stage before the next ITT Podevin continued his move and finished 5th. The ITT was once again a struggle for the team this time Benedict Burton finished as the teams best rider in 42nd. For the final stage the team threw everything it had with Podevin finishing 14th as the teams best. The final standing showed Podevin 17th in the GC, 9th in the sprint classification, and 8th in the youth classification. All and all the team was quite satisfied with their performance in their first tour and look forward to competing in the next one. Podevin was quoted as saying "The boys and I worked hard for each other. We learned a lot in this tour that will make us more competitive in the next one. While our finish wasn't what we hoped for it shows strong improvement from a newer team."

Thanks. I thought i was going to trigger his top form but his RS dropped right as his DP increased. He started the tour with 96 DP and 88 RS i think.

California Mist at 17:44 7/6-2014
Shame about the TT's, with better results there Podevin could have easily made top 9. Possibly TT centre him by next seasons tour and go again (with TF). Definite chance of podium then
